FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What should I expect from my first massage?

    • You should expect to fill out an online health history form.  This assists the therapist in figuring out the best treatment for you.  You should list all surgeries and/or injuries you have had (or at least be ready to discuss them).  This can also give your therapist the ability to utilize the best techniques to help you optimize your time in the office.

    • You will be undressed to underwear but always fully covered with a sheet and/or blanket.  The only part of you that should be exposed is your head and whatever other body part the therapist will be working on, i.e.: your arm or leg.

    • Communication is imperative, especially during your first treatment.  This includes pressure (too much, not enough) or if you don't like a technique your therapist uses, how will they know if you don't tell them?

    • Remember, your comfort is very important here.  This is your time and your money so don't be afraid to speak up and tell your therapist what you are thinking.  This will help YOU receive the best treatment!
